Route Map of Bus Stops By Line through ChatGPT

Step Instruction
Overview To create the Route Map, prepare the Bus Stops by Line list with Google Maps links. Follow Steps 1–5 from the guide.
Steps      1–5 Use the instructions at: https://bus-stop-safety.blogspot.com/2026/04/steps-for-bus-stops-by-line-audit.html to generate the Bus Stops by Line table.🗝️
Route Map Once the Bus Stops by Line table is complete with the Google Maps links you can create the Route Map.
Step 6 ChatGPT Type: “Map this route” and allow the map to process.
Step 7 ChatGPT: at the bottom of the prompt, click or Type in: “Generate a Google Maps link that plots the whole route as a drivable path.”
Step 8 Open the generated long Google Maps link. Example provided:
Switch to Transit Mode to see the route more clearly.

Step 9 Create the short link version:
Google Maps → 3 Bars (upper left) → Share or Embed Map → Copy Link.

Step 10 Paste the short Google Route Map link into Google Docs or Blogger and save. This link can now be shared with Street View options.
Step 10A Optional Embed:
Google Maps → 3 Bars → Share or Embed Map → Copy Embed Code → Paste into Blogger (HTML mode).
The Google Route Map will show the areas that need bus stop improvements throughout the line.
